Denali &
Wonder Lake

This painting captures Denali, the tallest peak in North America, rising above Wonder Lake in Denali National Park. Though now widely known as Denali, Ansel Adams referred to the mountain as Mount McKinley. The painting shows the mountain wrapped in snow beneath a vivid, cloudless sky, its reflection mirrored in the still waters of Wonder Lake.
