The Tetons & Snake River

My painting of the Grand Tetons and Snake River, pays tribute to Ansel Adams’ iconic composition. Rising above the winding Snake River, the Grand Tetons form one of America’s most breathtaking landscapes. Ansel Adams immortalized this view in his legendary black-and-white photograph of 1942. This reimagining is of the view, as it can be seen today, is both a nod to Adams’ vision and a contemporary interpretation in paint and color.
