This is a late summer painting of a covered bridge in Vermont. Looking down river, sat upon rocks exposed by the low water, we are surrounded by the babbling river, dense woodland and quiet nature. Ahead the bridge reaches out across the river, its shoulders hidden by riverbank trees. The sky rises high above with a few puffy white clouds drifting by. It is the perfect scene for quiet reflection and a place for the mind to escape into calm.
